High tack acrylic adhesive for low surface energy foams and difficult to bond to surfaces
Minimal adhesive allows for low profile bond line applications
Short term high temperature resistance up to 250°F (121°C)
60# Densified Kraft (DK) liner for ease in die-cutting operations
Offers very high initial adhesion for a wide variety of surface bonding
3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9471 offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, including smooth LSE plastics and foam. It is often used as a general purpose transfer tape in a variety of surface bonding applications.
Recommended Applications
Graphic nameplates and overlays on metal and low surface energy plastic surfaces
Bonding metal nameplates and rating plates
Adhesive 300 Offers a Consistently Strong Bond
3M™ Adhesive 300 features high initial adhesion. This pressure sensitive acrylic bonds well to a variety of substrates, including low surface energy plastics, foams, fabrics and coated papers. The formulation gives 3M™ Adhesive 300 a consistently strong bond across a range of temperatures, up to 250°F (121°C).
Understanding Adhesive Transfer Tapes Adhesive transfer tapes are rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. For application, the tape is simply pressed, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is peeled off. A variety of adhesive properties and liners are available to meet requirements for applications such as nameplate attachment to high and low surface energy plastics, appliance graphic overlays that perform in high temperatures, foam gasketing, web splicing, signs, posters, banners, point-of-purchase displays and more.
